After Taiyuan liberation, to protect people's livelihood and promote the development of production, the public industrial enterprise which represented by the Northwest Industrial Company made salary adjustment and reform for many times under the leadership of the communist party of China in takeover and reconstruction. From the “original salary policy” to the “system of eight-level wages,” the workers' salary not only increased greatly in quantity, but also became reasonable in quality, and the production of enterprises increased steadily.
