Focusing on the two levels of historical writing and culture-speaking, and relying on the macro- and micro-dimensions, externally and internally, this article analyzes Paper Hawk which is written from the view of the historical dialectics from the families and the country realms. It also covers the individual and the era, the cultural dialectics between China and the western countries, and the new and old cultures; it processes a profound discussion on the historical and cultural issues which have always been most important ones either in the past or in the present. In addition, it also reveals the current cultural position and modernity through the process of intervening in history and returning to tradition.
