Yan Tu Ri Ji (A Trip Diary), held by Kyoto University in Japan, has no author. The first volume of this diary has such records that the author said natives from Hubei and Hunan provinces were his fellow-villagers and he clashed with the then Shangan Governor, Sheng Yun. According to The Historical Archives of Guangxu Emperor and other relevant historical materials, we can determine that this diary was authored by Wu Luzhen and his companion Zhou Weizhen.
