The Chinese as a textbook of Malaysian independent junior high schools has selected a large number of works by Lu Xun, Bingxin, Zhu Ziqing and other writers in the “May Fourth” Movement, as well as Qin Mu, Yang Shuo and other Chinese contemporary writers, which is isomorphic with the literary acceptance of Malaysian Chinese society. At the same time, the aesthetic style of native Malaysian-Chinese works in the textbooks is similar to modern and contemporary Chinese literature, showing the far-reaching influence of modern and contemporary Chinese literature on the reproduction of Malaysian-Chinese literature.
