However, narratives of legitimation have exposed many weaknesses in the theory in the process of modernization, they begin to collapse. Consequently, the “post-modern condition” has appeared in post-industrial society. The whole process is called “de-legitimation” by Lyotard. It resembles the philosophical reflexive modernization which is a sociological and political term used by Ulrich Beck. Beck argues that a reverse process of modernization appears in western society after 1989, disintegrating and destroying the traditional modernization silently. Meanwhile, this process seems to be the aftermath of the self-application of modernization. Therefore, the dream of industrialization after enlightenment is far from being realized. Conversely, a “risk-society” has come into being.
