Secondly, the value added of exports in Hubei Province is more dependent on the local, and the epidemic has a large impact on the economy of Hubei Province. With the epidemic under control in China, the impact of the COVID-19 on China's manufacturing global value chain will gradually diminish. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading worldwide, it will have an unprecedented impact on the global value chains from the upstream and downstream of the industrial and supply chains in the short term. Thirdly, in the long term, the COVID-19 poses significant opportunities and challenges to China's manufacturing global value chains following the Sino-US trade friction.
