Analysis of three dimensional relationship between novel critique, illustrations and texts, research the concept of novel critique and illustrations of modern classical novels, the relationship between the two artistic forms, and the main functions of illustrations and critique can restore the true style of the spread of classical novels of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Based on the novel version and combined with version evolution, publishing culture, reader requirements, research formation style and communication mode, the focus of inquiry on illustrations and text interaction can clarity the illustrations.
