Currently, the difficulties of after-school service against the background of “double reduction” are reflected as follows: (1) in terms of students, issues including whether the burden of extracurricular tutoring can be really reduced, whether the diversified needs can be met, and whether their learning and development ability can be truly improved should be taken into account; (2) in terms of teachers, their workload, psychological burden and role burden may greatly increase; (3) in terms of improving quality and efficiency, the coverage of after-school service is not complete, the effectiveness of this service can't be guaranteed, and the supervision is not strong enough. In order to improve the after-school service, we should adhere to the “student-centered” principle and build the project of moral education; respect teachers' subjectivity and improve teachers' constancy and creativity in the after-school service participation;
