Scholars, such as Yan Zhongping, Yang Duanliu, and Chen Chunsheng, have conducted special issues on the price parity between silver and copper cash in North China, Jiangnan District, and Guangdong. However, compared to other regions in China, the price parity between silver and copper cash in Fujian during the Qing dynasty has only been briefly mentioned in the research of some scholars and lacks dedicated studies. Specifically, the study in eastern Fujian is even more of a scholarly blank.
