The enhancement of academic journal dissemination power is indispensable for the construction of China's independent knowledge system. A strong academic journal dissemination power can quickly introduce domestic scholars' innovative views and research findings to the international stage, enhancing China's academic influence. Academic journals, as important platforms for academic exchange and knowledge sharing, can promote the widespread dissemination and application of academic achievements, thereby improving China's independent knowledge system. Moreover, the enhancement of academic journal dissemination power can attract more excellent academic resources and talents, providing strong support for the construction of China's independent knowledge system. Strengthening academic journal construction and enhancing its dissemination power is of great significance for the construction of China's independent knowledge system.Based on the theory of knowledge sharing, the dissemination power of academic journals can be measured in three dimensions according to the production process of academic journals and the evaluation method of media dissemination power. Eleven indicators and their explanations and definitions are given in the three dimensions of knowledge creation, knowledge dissemination, and knowledge sharing. In the dimension of knowledge creation, we can measure the dissemination power of academic journals using brand effect, quality, timeliness, and diversity. In the dimension of knowledge dissemination, we can measure the dissemination power of academic journals using visibility, citation rate and reprint rate, media convergence ability, and internationalization. In the dimension of knowledge sharing, we can measure the dissemination power of academic journals using interactivity and accessibility.The innovation of this paper lies in the following aspects: (1) There are fewer systematic studies on the dissemination power of academic journals in China, while this paper proposes to evaluate the dissemination power of academic journals from the perspective of the formation elements of knowledge sharing, enriching and expanding related theoretical research. (2) An attempt is made to propose an evaluation system for the dissemination power of academic journals, and relevant dimensions are explained and defined, which has strong practical guides. In addition, this paper faces some limitations in the research process, the most obvious of which is the lack of statistical data, and the robustness of the evaluation system needs further verification.
